New Account Entry
Home / A Special Breed / New Account Entry

The best way to describe Bloodhound’s new account entry system is that it’s comprehensive to ensure accounts are added to the system correctly, yet extremely simple to use. Client-specific or system-wide specifications control initial settings assigned to the accounts. The user simply types in the data and does visual checks along the way. A client-specific pop-up window aids the data entry person in filling in specific information needed for that client. A special instructions window can also pop up if there are specific needs for that client. For many data entry personnel, this replaces a cluster of sticky notes around their computer screen.

Bloodhound also simplifies receiving new accounts electronically. If the information is received in one of several standard formats such as tab-delimited or fixed-width, the agency can import the accounts on their own. If the format is complex, Bloodhound’s team of programmers will work with you to create a custom menu option to import the accounts.

In both methods, editing reports are run to ensure the information will be input properly before the accounts are put into Bloodhound debtor files. Once editing is complete, the posting process will print internal documentation, print/fax/email client acknowledgments, and print the debtor’s first notices (dunning letters) or send them to your preferred outsourcing company.
